In our last recommendation we suggested going to the Tokyo Disney Resort visiting the highly rated DisneySea for a once in a lifetime trip for travelers visiting with kids. With our second recommendation we highlight something a bit less known, but it is still found near the popular Tokyo Dome City. If you're ever looking for things to do in Tokyo with your little ones, consider checking out ASObono!
ASObono! claims to be the largest indoor kids facility in Tokyo where parents and children can have fun together
While we definitely haven't visited every indoor play areas in Tokyo, ASObono! was certainly the largest facility we've ever brought the girls to. The main event is the ball pit. This pit is so large that it fits an entire pirate ship! The pit walls are covered with climbing paths and slides allowing for a seemless out-and-in route.

ASObono! is so large that this giant ball pit only takes up about 1/6 of the entire space
There are many rooms with different themes and activities for your little ones to explore. These areas are connected by steps and obstacles for the kids to jump around and navigate to the next destination. For instance, climbing some stairs out of the ball pit leads to a giant inflated jumping platform. Again it's so big that even adults are welcome to jump along with your kids.

There is an area where kids can play make believe
Different buildings and storefronts stand together to create a little downtown where your little ones can choose which stores to spend some time in. They can pretend to be a chef, where they have access to make believe kitchens and then serve you at tiny tables. They also visit the local market to pick up some groceries on the way to the next play area.

Safety is paramount here
Pretty much the whole interior is padded and designed to cushion any falls. There is even a play room quite separated from the rest of the areas for little ones that are under two years old. Here there is extra floor padding so you can allow your baby to crawl around worry free. Our daughter Sora loved crawling around and picking up all the toys and playing with the interactive walls!

ASObono! is very affordable too. Your little one's will probably tire themselves out in an hour or two, and depending on if you go during the week or a weekend, you can expect to pay around $20-$40 for a really fun time. Plus when you're finished at ASObono! you can explore the many other attractions at the Tokyo Dome City area.
